University of Malta and MCAST-Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology has introduced a Bridging program for Nursing graduates those who are from non European countries. Nurses who successfully complete this program can apply for registration as a Nurse with Malta council of Nurses and Midwives.
ADVANTAGES:- Indian Nurse those who want to work in Countries like UK, USA, Canada, Australia ,New Zealand and Europe should have Overall 7.0 in IELTS and not less than 7 bands in each component whereas in Malta the requirement in IELTS is 6.0 Overall and not less than 5.5 in each component.
- Students those who are completing a 6 months program not less than level 5 would be eligible for 6 months of stay back after completion of course.
- Nursing students are finding employment while they are doing the bridging program practical training itself. Nurses are being placed in Hospitals for Practical as a part of this program so its easy for the them to get into employment. So far the course is having 100% placement record
